Three Months After Completing NYSC, Young Woman Dies in Abuja Hotel (Graphic Photos)

Promise Ekong, a young woman hailing from Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State, has sadly passed away while staying at Stanzel Grand Resort in Gwarimpa, Abuja.

The incident occurred shortly after she completed her mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in November of 2022. While the precise circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, conflicting reports have emerged. According to the hotel management, Promise drowned in their swimming pool. However, the family of the deceased has raised suspicions of police misconduct and foul play.
