Fire destroys an NNPC filling station in Dutse

A fire broke out at a NNPC mega filling station in Jigawa State’s Dutse local government on Sunday, Jan. 8.

While being refueled at the Station, a Golf Volkswagen with the registration BL 320 RSH caught fire and spread to other areas of the fuel station.

The vehicle was completely destroyed, and the pump attendant, Abdulmumini Haladu, aka Dungun, was seriously injured.

Some parts of the filling station were completely destroyed by the fire.

It took the combined effort of Security personnel, men of the State, Federal Fire and Dutse International Airport Fire Service to put off the fire.
