“I was moved to tears” – Nigerian man on social media as he shows off food items his wife bought for Christmas with her savings
A Nigerian man, simply known as Kris, took to social media to congratulate his wife on purchasing food for Christmas with money she had saved.
He took to Facebook to share photos of the items his wife purchased, which included a bag of rice, groundnut oil, and crates of eggs, to name a few.
The husband, astounded by his wife’s thoughtfulness, explained that she had been saving money since January and had decided to use it to start their Christmas shopping early.
“I dey parlour dey watch tv, I hear keke sound for our domot, my mind think say them bring cement for my Landlord wey dey build house. Next thing I hear na my wife voice, calling me. People of God!! I went downstairs, na weytin this woman buy for Christmas be this,” he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday, December 6.
“She say na money she don dey contribute from her shop from January she use buy them. I’m in total shock…. Son of man wey don dey reason how this Christmas wan be. Oh God!! I nearly cry…. May God bless us all with wonderful women,” he added.
