ASUU: UNICAL resumes activities and prepares for examinations

The University of Calabar Senate has approved the resume of academic activities for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic sessions, as well as the publication of an amended academic calendar.

According to a press release signed by the Registrar of the University of Calabar, Mr Gabriel Egbe, the amended academic calendar covers the second semester of 2020/2021 and the first semester of 2021/2022.

According to the release, academic activities will begin on Monday, October 17, 2022, with the arrival of freshmen for the 2021/2022 Session.

It informed that all other students are expected on campus on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 and will commence lectures on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

It further stated that registration for Amnesty/ Mop-Up exams will commence from 17th-19th October, 2022 and the exams will begin from Thursday, October 24-29th October, 2022.

The release has accordingly called on all categories of staff to be on their duty post as the institution prepares to welcome students back to campus.

The Registrar on behalf of the Vice Chancellor welcomes all staff and students back to campus and prays for a fruitful and hitch free session.
