Nigerian president Buhari takes off on medical leave to the United Kingdom

President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to fly to London today, October 31, for a medical checkup.

Femi Adesina, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, announced this earlier today in a tweet on his verified personal handle.

The President will return to the country in the second week of November, he said.
