Atiku, firm in dispute over $5.9m Visa bill payment
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has been accused of not paying $5.9 million in fees to obtain a visa to travel to the United States in 2018, just three months before the 2023 election.
Legacy Logistics LLC Limited claimed that Atiku had yet to pay the hefty fee for the visa.
Despite the fact that Atiku’s trip was applauded by his throngs of supporters, he did not pay for the services rendered, according to the firm.
It was claimed that Atiku purposefully refused to honor his part of the service agreement despite repeated requests.
But Atiku’s legal adviser, Prof. Maxwell Gidado (SAN) , who was named by the firm to be in the know of the agreement, said the company did not procure any visa for the PDP candidate
