Ned Nwoko Wins PDP Candidate For Delta North Senatorial District
Hon. Ned Nwoko, a former House of Representatives member, is on the verge of becoming the Senator to represent the Delta North Senatorial District in 2023 after emerging as the People’s Democratic Party PDP nominee.
In today’s primary election, the philanthropist and anti-malaria crusader defeated his opponent, Paul Osaji, by a margin of 242 to 67 votes.
As a result of the large margin, Ned Nwoko is the popular pick to represent Delta North in the Senate.
Since his victory was declared, ladies and youth organizations in the constituency have erupted in widespread celebration of Hon. Nwoko’s triumph.
He is to slug it out at the general election with the candidate of the APC and other political parties at the general election next year.
Ned Nwoko is believed to be popular among his people, stemming from the massive humanitarian campaign he has embarked upon, not only in Delta North but the state and country at large.
He has improved their standard of living through job opportunities, youth empowerment, improved health care, and access to education.
Recall that not long ago, his university, Sports University in Delta, recently secured an operational license from the National Universities Commission in readiness for commencement of admission.
With a major platform in the works, he is expected to use his Senate seat to expand the scope of his humanitarian mission and improve the lives of his constituents.
He has widespread support among his constituents.
