Sunday Oliseh: I'm ready to coach the Super Eagles again

Sunday Oliseh, a former Super Eagles midfielder, has stated that he would be willing to lead the team again if the conditions were right.

Oliseh was named Super Eagles head coach in 2015, but only lasted eight months.

For his actions, the 48-year-old voluntarily resigned from the position, citing contract violations, a lack of support, unpaid wages, and benefits to his players.

The 1994 Africa Cup of Nations champion then coached at Dutch club Fortuna Sittard and German lower league club SV 19 Straelen.

‘My priority is to get Nigeria back to the top,’ Oliseh said in an interview with Channels TV on Monday.

“I will do it (handle the Super Eagles) if the person employing have the interest of Nigeria at heart.’”

Oliseh was recently appointed as a member of the technical study group for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

He represented Nigeria 54 times and scored two goals.
